  I highly recommend CPA as a prime vacation spot when you want to get away from it all, enjoy some quiet time, as well as be pampered by the staff!

  While ABC looked really nice and was relatively new then, the atmosphere was snooty and the service lacking - especially for how expensive it was. When we arrived for our second week staying in CPA, we weren't impressed with the curb appeal and became a little concerned. They've painted since then and the place looks nicer from the outside. Back then it was a little scary to look at from the outside. But all you needed do was walk in to have your opinion changed.

  It sounds like they still have that amazing, caring attitude. Today, nearly 13 years later, my wife and I consider our honeymoon stay at Club Puerto Atlantico one of the best of our lives; and we've done LOTS of travel. This place is so good, people don't just buy weeks, they buy units and return at set times so that they can reunite with friends while on vacation. Again, the rooms, restaurant, facilities, and pool areas were all spotlessly clean. Even the area where "Pedro" the resident parrot stayed was clean! (If you've ever owned a parrot, you know what a chore that is!)

  My wife and I honeymooned in the Canaries almost 13 years ago. We split our 2-week trip between what was then Airtour Beach Club (ABC) and Club Puerto Atlantico (CPA).

  The inside of the property was spotless, the staff genuinely nice and caring, and no task too tall for them to take on. They helped me book flights to/from La Palma, obtain a rental car, as well as get in touch with several of the optical observatories on the island (the reason we went to La Palma.) Incredible!!

  Back then, the General Manager was Graham Hiscock (apparently no longer with the property) and he and his staff would do anything to make their guests' stay more enjoyable. Graham would not allow any of the staff to approach guests about purchasing a timeshare at CPA - if you wanted info, you approached them. That was VERY refreshing!!

  Great hotel ! We had the penthouse suite on the 5th floor could not fault anything. I came away with a friend just for a long weekend to relax and we did just that. The pool area wasn't crowded and there were always beds to sun bath on. The staff were friendly and helpful. The only thing I was a little dissapointed in was the roof bar/terrace was not open due to works being carried out and the fact we couldn't get breakfast as the restaurant was only open from 4pm till 11pm. Apart from that I would defiantly come back.

  Small, friendly accommodation. We were in a one bedroom apartment, great facilities and what a view. The Rossini restaurant that shares the venue is excellent. Close to town but far enough away too. The fiesta In the town was such fun. We are thoroughly enjoying our holiday.

  Used to be a time share joint sold through "Ocean view management" had 7 good years there till the management got greedy and forced the weekly terms up to double and demanded extortionate refurbishment payments on us. Now a Hotel AYE right on the back of all the cash we scammed "club members" poured into it over the years..
